Who we are? We started IVEX after several years of research on safe and autonomous vehicles, conducted at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). Today, we are an international team working on extremely challenging and interesting technical problems that have a huge societal impact. Our unique IP and team experience in behavior planning, functional safety and vehicle engineering enables the development of safe autonomous vehicles. With still a bunch of challenges ahead, we are passionate about using our skills to save lives.

Transpolis is a Euro NCAP active safety laboratory and French Technical Service based near Lyon.
Located in the heart of Europe, the test center was created by a consortium of industrial and public partners, incubated within the French competitiveness cluster (CARA). The challenge was to create a unique place to connect the worlds of infrastructure and vehicles, with the aim to develop new mobility solutions.
The proving ground is truly unique, featuring a real-life condition designed city centre, highway and crossing track for improving active safety benefits and evaluations.
As an ISO 17025 laboratory, our team supports its customers, from passenger cars to commercial vehicles, throughout the entire engineering cycle, from the development to type approval and Euro NCAP active safety assessments.
