Researchers from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety have joined colleagues from academia and the automated vehicle and insurance industries in issuing a set of best practices for future evaluations of highly automated vehicles.

Valmet Automotive continues to expand its capabilities in battery testing. Within just a few years, the company has already completed a second major expansion of its Battery Test Center (BTC) in Bad Friedrichshall, Germany. Valmet Automotive now is running one of the most modern battery testing facilities for the automotive and the commercial vehicle industries.
Vector Informatik and MdynamiX are now jointly offering test benches for steer-by-wire or conventional steering systems. Vector contributes its expertise in residual bus and vehicle dynamics simulation as well as real-time hardware. MdynamiX test bench components provide the finest steering feel feedback and capture objective key performance indicators (KPIs). The result is a compact and modular steer-by-wire test system that covers a wide range of requirements in a tabletop size.
